I really don't like his performance in this round. Yang hong seok is just lucky that he was in B.I's team when he barely do anything. I don't find it right for him to be in Ikon. However, i feel like the finalize ikon will be TeamB + 1 new trainee(hopefully it is not YHS). This doesn't make any sense that junhoe lose over chanwoo. Junhoe helped chanwoo with the rap part! And much as I loved Jinny, when I heard that there were 3 confirmed members on twitter, I was making bets with my tlist that it was Junhoe for certain. How on earth did he end up being a candidate for elimination? You have no idea how angry I am right now because of this. I feel that after WIN, he had already claimed his spot in YGE.

I know they still lacks something so i wasnt really mad when I heard about the new survival show.I didnt expect that the entire match is so rigged.First I thought the new trainees must be good enough to be able to compete with the original member but it turns out that the members have to teach them how to sing and dance.Second, I thought this show should be a good opportunity to promote the other members sans double b but amount of screentime for the confirmed members>>>the members who are supposed to showcase their charms and stories to gain the votes.Third, i never expect the day the absolute best Junhoe lose to the weakest member would come.

ReplyDeleteif you're just starting to practice, it's not ridiculous for a singer to not be able to find their cue in the beginning. I've been performing in a choir for ages and this is common when you're just beginning to practice. Not everyone has the talent to get everything right away.

Awww…. I'm one of the few rooting for Hong Seok.. I see him to be like the next Jinwoo. lol everyone hated Jinwoo on WIN because he cried too much & lacked skills, but he has become a favorite of most.

I feel bad that Junhoe got his pride trampled on, but i do think that fans can see his talents & he will get in. I'm afraid to say that OT6 may not survive, because i don't think Yoyo nor Donghyuk has gained any new fans at all, for right now, their fan base could be the same size as the 3 new guys?
Tbh, iKON as the original lineup lost to WINNER because of their vocals & if iKON remains OT6 & doesnt have HongSeok as the 7th member, they're set up to fail imo.

Is this gonna be like WIN again. People were always complaining how the judges kept on picking Team B over A but in the end, Team A won. I remember people were always complaining why YG favored TB over TA, fans were so angry, then more people tuned in to it. I hope they are just doing like this again, i cant take it if O6 is not together.

Junhoe WILL BE on the TEAM. He is the lead vocalist. This show was for icon to get a fandom and prove their talent. Which is what they are doing right now form what i see it will the OT6 plus a new member or else it won't work. Junhoe could not be picked bc he was added new like the other 2 plus this make people recognize his voice. Not many people did until Climax that that was to late.

ReplyDeleteI still don't understand the relevance of Yang Hongseok in this show. He is good in vocals but he just doesn't stand out. His performance from the beginning until this episode just makes me cringe so bad. It continues to solidify the reason why I don't want him to become an iKON member. Jinhyeong who is far behind of him in terms of vocal proves to be worthy enough of being an iKON member though. By now, I'm all for OT6 + Jinhyeong.

No there many other because this is business I hate saying this because he is my bias in Ikon but the tough mentality they are building here will help them in the long run, same as it did for BB. Taeyang and GD had trained for so long in BB yet they still had to deal with it as well. With out this show, the general public will still call them bad singers and don't get why YG picked them. Through this song there have been many positive comments on them talking about how they don't seem like like trainees or even rookies. Also he has been gaining lots of fans through this because people FINALLY realized how great of a singer he is. He needs to get better which he will and has since Climax all of them have gotten better. They have the general public attention in a positive light also made many new fans. Yes what's going on it sad but it's life and they are entering a world were one wrong move all netizen not just K will be wanting to tear them down. This will do them good, at least that's what has happened to all the other YG artists.

ReplyDeleteOkay, so I just watched the episodes and I personally think that Jinhwan's team is the best for singing and dancing. Bobby's team would be second. The ones that should be eliminated are the ones that really didn't make any impression to me/viewers. Although I like Hongseok but he seems lifeless in the perfs. He doesnt even exist lol. So he should go along with Jinhyung. Jin is still awkward. Chanwoo is awkward but you got to give him props for his effort.
ReplyDeleteAnd the 3 leaders. You guys are already confirmed. So what you should do? You guys ought to help the others and don't be in the spotlight.
Bet ot6 will debut. The 7th member should either be Jin or Hong. Both of them need to buck up if they really want this. (Although Chanwoo makes effort for his perf, he still doesn't fit in iKON IMO)
What do you mean the members don't like him tho? In the recent airport pictures, Hongseok and Bobby were even holding hands and joking around.
ReplyDeleteThis is sucks!!! why on earth our Junhoe is in bottom 3? he is far way better indeed he is professional. And why he lost to Chanwoo? damn YG, you mess with him means you mess with the fans, if you wanna play tricks,play wisely and don't mess with our Junhoe. if the fans got angry you will dead meat! I agree with the fans saying he should belongs in 4th sport of iKON member. his voice is much more incredible than Chanwoo. (I'm pissed off right now)
ReplyDeleteI agree B.I team was great and creative, but the other two team was more fun to watch. Hong soek is good singer but he is very awkward.
poor Yunhyung, he must've been hurt for loosing to Chanwoo.

ReplyDeleteAnd wth hell with the judges. All of them are rappers right? I mean come on, the rappers in the group already confirmed. At least pick judges knows to judge about vocal capabilities like Yoon Jong Shin or Lee Seung Chul or any other great singers out there.

ReplyDeleteIt saddens me how most people did not recognize JunHwe's talented voice until Climax because I was onboard the JunHwe train since One of a Kind. That soulful intro turned me into a stan immediately. ("I don't know why y'all talking about me, I don't care I'm just burning your team...") Then his high notes in Baby and perfect runs in Just Another Boy just solidified my love for him. How did other people take so long? Most importantly, how could anti-Team B fans honestly say "no one but BobB.I has any talent in the group"? Are they skipping all of Team B's performances?
ReplyDeleteHongSeok may be the second best singer in Mix & Match, but nothing matters when his vocals don't fit into iKON's style of music. While Winner is the non-hip hop group in YG, iKON does hip hop, and HongSeok is not hip hop. Nor can HongSeok dance, which is Team B's forte. I really like his voice, but he has a tendency to not stay on beat.
ReplyDeleteThere are a million reasons why I hate this show, but one of the biggest reasons is editing. Mnet's evil editing strikes again. Mix & Match has vilified HongSeok to the point where I don't know how he can continue in the idol industry in the future. It's looking more and more likely he has no chance to be in the final lineup, so now the question is will he be able to debut at all with all this hate created against him for the sake of drama? Did you see the part after the vocal match where Team B.I was backstage with Hayi and HongSeok had his hand up for a hi-five, then B.I put his hand up and Hayi gave B.I a hi-five but left HongSeok hanging? I just thought it was so rude. Nobody deserves to be ostracized.
Have you noticed how similar HongSeok and YG's names are? My brain keeps saying "Yang Hyun Suk" every time I read "YHS."
ReplyDeleteI cannot understand why ChanWoo kept crying and Bobby had to stay and comfort him. Bobby's #1 priority in that situation should have been YunHyung. They're dong-gap and super close within the team. All of Team B was by YunHyung's side except for Bobby.
ReplyDeleteI am just stating the truth is that hating. In my opinion he can't sing and i see a lot of comments about this why do they pick only the one on Hangseok. The haters are the one who are attacking the personnality of a Guy they don't even know. Now the show is already biased as it is protraying Him as a bad Guy , they have to promote the comments about the guy and do it justice than please put all of them .If you are so cared about not hating you should know the one who have most hatred in this show is him.
ReplyDeleteYunHyung acted cool because he didn't want the other to feel pain over him and he kind of go outside. Bobby knew that Chanwoo will be sad because he was picked over Juno so he consoled him first since he was next to him.
ReplyDeleteHe is the best singer in the new trainees but ever since he came he was portrayed as rude in the interaction with the team , they said they didn't like him , he look like a sly fox , he doesn't respect the beat when singing. His dancing skills are not great and he lacks confidence that it 's the only thing i think he should work. If you think want to see his singing watch this link and you see by yourself.
