ReplyDeleteI love and adore Taehyun. He has a straight forward personality but even then his hhyungs have nothing but praise to say to him. He cares about them in his own special way haha

i'm actually also legit deaf in my left ear. don't know if i was born that way or if something happened cause i didn't find out until kindergarten when my teacher started noticing i was non-responsive at times on the playground, and suggested i see a hearing specialist.

And he was able to successfully debut with WINNER and work in the music industry despite being deaf in one ear. Just shows that you shouldn't let your disability refrain you from doing what you like. Nam Taehyun<3

All the respect for Taehyun.... It's inspiring... He's only 20 but he works so hard despite his hardship and achieves his dream of being a musician. It must be hard for him to sing & compose.. He can easily say about it on WIN & gain more love & sympathy yet he never said about it & wins people's hearts with his talent & charm...

ReplyDeleteThis TT So much truth. Kang Seungyoon works hard to paid his family debt + single mother hardship + get involved with bad friends & got betrayed b4 he found music passion. Mino leave Block B & fail debut with BoM. Jinwoo come from poor family + father oppose his dreams to become singer. Hoon go to Seoul at young age to find his dream bcuz parents oppose his dream. Namtae has to take care of his family (single mother, bro, granma) while his family is not really good financially + his disability never stop him.
Ps:- Nam Taehyun used to be so introvert & do not talk much during his trainee days. Only after meeting his precious WINNER groups members then he started to open up bit by bit. I'm happy with what happen to him now & thankful for WINNER members who made him change for a good cause.
And who said Winner was a bad name ? It's really perfect for them, not only they win on survival, but also irl struggles ..

Nam taehyun is so beautiful and i look up to him so much,
sometimes he sings out of tone, and thats when i realize hes struggling, but he still does an amazing job. The people who mock him are disgusting and must not do much themselves seeing that someone who is disabled can follow their dreams but they cant.
Also about taehyuns personality, other fandoms annoy me so much. They say such rude things about him. Yeah hes rude, yeah hes sassy, but hes our rude boy. Hes actually sweet and just straightforward how you said. Hes just a perfect boy whos trying to follow his dreams no matter what gets in his way. Im so proud of him ใ ใ

ReplyDeleteSSD. Single-sided deafness. What is his level of severity? Is it partial or complete? He may not be able to hear in stereo but I don't think it will have any adverse effect on his musical ability. He can always buy those mono-splitters for his headphones or earpieces. At worst, he'll only not be able to locate the distance and direction of sound or pick up a voice among other voices. That's why most of his musical compositions tend to be clean or uncluttered. Very pleasing to the ears.
ReplyDeleteIt's the social stigma he has to contend with though. Is this why his mom had him listen to Handel all the time when he was young? I guess it was his mom's way of telling him early on that there's nothing that he can't do-even music.
