If you have known CL since "the old days" like you say, how is she trying to be ghetto or black? Dara has appropriated the black culture more than CL has ever done. From her tracksuits to cornrows and wanting to be hip hop when she knows nothing about it, I have never seen CL do stuffs like that.
CL will be CL and she will be just fine
