[Instiz] The best leader among all idols?


Post summarizes the story of 2NE1's CL risking her life to save Sandara Park during the 9.0 magnitude earthquake in Japan.  Sandara Park and CL talked about this experience on SBS' Incarnation.

Quick summary for those who haven't heard of the story:
Dara was on the 34th floor of the hotel they were staying in when the 9.0 magnitude earthquake hit.  She described the chaos with the sliding doors moving back and forth like windshield wipers and smoke coming out from the side of the building.  "Usually when I'm scared or hurt, I try to keep it in, but at that time, I thought I needed to live, so I crawled and screamed for someone to save me but I realized that I was the only one on that floor."  Dara managed to call using the hotel phone and got connected with CL.  CL replied calmly to her panicked call saying, "Unnie, stay where you are.  Do not get on the elevators.  I will go there and get you so just stay where you are." Dara said she waited believing in her words and CL actually came after climbing to the 34th floor from the 31st floor with another staff member.  When asked how CL remained so calm in such a situation and went to rescue Dara, CL replied, "If I die, I die, and if I had to die, I thought it would be better to be together with my member.  It seemed like the right thing to do."

    i love CL and i especially love the bond between the members. their bond seems so real compared to others and i feel like they would have each other's backs.

    People say 2ne1 is over, but I am not worried because I know CL wont let that happen. People say other members will get abandoned once CL's US promotion succeeds, but I am not worried because I know CL has a too

    But she can't win. People hate her for ridiculous reason. She's wearing make up, people hating on her. She's wearing shades, people hating on her. She's wearing skirts, people hating on her.
    "If she's confident enough, why is she wearing make up? Why is she wearing shades?" -.- Like...everyone have something that makes them feel better but if it come to cl, she can't do anything. It must be hard for her to handle these stupid hates.

    I swear the bond between 2ne1 is very strong bom save minzy life while she was drowning and CL went back to save darat in time of need. For me I know 2ne1 would never be over these girls are the kind of BFF you want in your life

    CL is a year younger than me...but I honestly look up to her a lot. She is an inspirational girl. I respect her strong mentality so much.

    And 2ne1...even though I have heard this story many times, I still get chills. But recently I miss them too much that I just wanna cry everytome I see a post about them lol

    They were in the Philippines, CL and Minzy were on the jet ski(?) but they fell. Minzy cant swim, and Dara was looking for someone who could help but then she realized Bom was already in the water swimming towards Mingkki.

    Do you see any idols get hate for wearing shades?? This girl get hate for everything. She post pictures of herself on her own ig people will still hating on her bcs "cl is so full of herself. She's not that pretty. She only wearing thick make up. Her ig is just full with her pictures"

    even though CL is not my bias I respect her, I know she is a good leader, she is very responsible, dependable and cool leader. I also hope for her success in US.

    I don't mean to be a hater and i certainly have no intentions in insulting her, but i can't help but to compare CL with taeyeon. CL got chosen for her leadership but taeyeon for her age. I think among snsd taeyeon has one of the weaker mindset and she depends more on her members than she should. People defend her saying that she's just human and yeah i understand that but that makes her lacking in leadership. If i were to choose i think sunny or tiffany would've been the better leader.

    They tried to make her out to be a bad person and doesn't care for her members because she doesn't post enough pictures of the others. CL has the most picture of OT4 than any of the other members on her instagram. She changed the way she dresses and wears more makeup and they act like her personality changed. I'll never forget how she stayed up all night making slippers for all of them on 2ne1tv. It wasn't much and she didn't have to do it but it shows how much she cares. I don't think she has changed a bit. She even gave Minzy a brand new iPhone a year or two ago just because she noticed Minzy had an older model. You just don't wake up a totally different person.

    I swear some Blackjacks are completely lost without 2NE1TV. Instead of realizing that they don't see 2NE1 24/7 like they used to, they'd rather say CL wears makeup 24/7. Bts videos of them rehearsing proves otherwise. They don't get to see every special moment anymore so they'd rather attack CL for her solo activities and pretend like it's all her fault that YG hasn't done more for the others.

    Sorry for the novel but I'm sick of how they treat her.

    Oh..,just let them hate her all they want. If they're hating this amazing strong kind-hearted lady for that reasons..it just shows their standards. Not like they matter anyway. People with bad judgement and poor taste never matters in any aspect of life.

    Preach! I don't see the logic 'if you're wearing make up, then you're full of yourself.' This is so dumb. If wearing make up makes her feel good and happy, so what's the problem? Let the girl do whatever she wants. -.-
    And what's up with blackjack fandom? What's with gzb, daraling, minja and bombshell? Why they have to have individual fandoms inside the blackjack fandom? I understand if the haters are the one who bashing 2ne1 but the fact that these individual stans are bashing the girls...now that's ridiculous.

    A true leader. CL is someone that, in case of an emergency, will remain calm, and think objectively to what it needs to be done. If something happens, she is the best person to have around. The girls are lucky to have each other, they really compliment each other.

    It's like a war and it's the reason I stay a way from the fandom. It's mainly just CL vs Dara fans.

    I don't think the fans realized that the individual fandoms would cause a problem later on but it has. Now it seems that some have separated Blackjack from the individual fandoms too. Like I always thought that if you considered yourself a Blackjack then you are a fan of them individually but I saw some that considers themselves blackjack getting pissed at CL for calling fans GZB. They couldn't understand that CL calls EVERYONE GZB and not just her individual fans. The fact they are pissed about being "left out" is ridiculous. If they don't care for her outside of 2NE1 then why should they be mad about being left out? Why should she cater to their feelings when they made it clear that they don't want to accept CL's term of endearment. It makes no sense. I do not understand that fandom. There are way too many divisions. At least it is for international fans, I can't speak for Korean fans.

    while am here as a BlackJack and I don't have a single Doubt, am sure 2NE1 is still as close as ever, if not I feel they've gotten even Closer with all the shiz happening to them..
