YG Entertainment advances into the golf business


  • YG Entertainment recently made their advancement into the golf business. 
  • YG Plus took over G-Ad Communications which houses professional golfer Kim Hyo Joo as well as other players including Lee Dong Min, Byun Ji Jae, Yoo Go Woon, and more.
  • Han Yeon Hee was recruited to lead the 'YG Golf Academy', a planned system that will nurture and prepare golf players.

    Yes, Yang Min Suk. He is a Yonsei graduate, and is responsible for everything in YGE except music.YHS takes care of music/performance/concerts as an executive producer. YMS extended YGE enormously in matter of few years, actors, models, sports, fashion/beauty line, that disney version of kpop in Seoul and California, bank etc.l, also got a hold of LVMH as the main investor. Its sort of crazy how he is capable of doing it all.

    Cuz YHS is the founder & the face of YGE while YMS does most things behind the scene. But honestly, YHS plays the critical role in YGE success cuz he produces BIGBANG, 2NE1 - 2 the biggest players in the music industry & music is still the major part of YGE. Both YHS & YMS are smart businessmen :)

    As a newer korean ent fan I just wanted to say that when I first only knew nb as the site to see the korean perspective I thought everyone hated yg but it's very balantly obvious that whoever runs nb is very biased, and don't give me the oh she focuses on mostly negative cause for other articles she'll do Nate which is hate and naver etc etc but when it comes to YG articles and jyj related things

    NB is such a trip though, couldn't they have atleast tried to be unbiased just a little bit? I get that its a personal blog or whatsoever, but international fans rely on them. Imagine if YGpress didn't exist?


    They never translate any WINNER article unless its some stupid speculation of Namtae being 'rude' (usually some random blogger's opinion)


    They only translate the worst possible 2NE1 commentS.


    They only translate the bad iKON articles i.e B.I's dad, Jinhwan/Jimin dating scandal (thank GOD netz weren't hateful), and don't get me started with Bobby, they were the reason the whole ravi/rapmon/Bobby speculation started in the first place, they translated some random blog's very wrong opinion, and from there ravi heard and everything was just a mess. Then they didn't even translate rapmon's article where he said he and Bobby interacted @ MAMA!


    Thank you YG press, if it weren't for you, most of us would have thought that all knetz hate YG/YGartists

    They once blocked me for saying i can hear her giggles when she finally found a Bom article after months of milking it lol, the comment got 50 upvotes in 10 minutes and BAM i got blocked with all of my comments deleted xD
    So i went back to my old account (this one) which was flagged whenever i comment my comments would disapear, but now it works fine.

    Omg I've noticed this too, like college students or older are sane and are just here for their music and style..oh and stage perf too lol but the younger fans aka 12 year old fan girls are so extreme and not always rational which sucks cause it ends up making us look bad, of course I think all the artists are the best for me but I would never try to argue that to say like a sm Stan bc they have to own faves, unless it's some users who are obvious hate trolls, then I will argue and win against them, like bitch no bow down

    Yes I so agree with this! Esp because I don't like kpop as a whole (it's just a preference, I'm not hating) but I like all the acts in YG and a couple others like jyj, ailee, hyorin etc so I always skip over all the other articles on nb anyways, so if this site does everything yg related I'm 99% sure all the other yg fans will not go on nb which means the world is a better place lol

    i was just about to click this article in nb but then i remember this is yg so i was like meh..it always gonna be full with hateful comments either from knet and i-fans..but i-fans i would say seems to be the most dedicated haters when it comes to yg and his artist..they always nitpicking every single thing yg do and never acknowledge yg's achievement and contribution to the korean music industry..well i guess they full with ego and hateful desire so no wonder why they always act like that..

    I think it's a good idea. You need to diversify your assets. You shouldn't be putting all your eggs in one basket, and he realized that. That's why they have a makeup line, clothing line, bank credit card, there are rumors about him creating a place for shows, now this golf venture... He should open a restaurant too while you're at it. There is still so much that can be done. He is incredible smart. His brother too. And they don't go into business without knowing their risks, analising everything. I think in just a couple more years, if the company continues to grow like this... We are going to see YGE on the American Forbes Top 50 Companies or more. They are quite close to 1billion dollars (around 800m a couple of months ago)...
    I actually respond on NB without checking, thinking it was YGPress. Of course she posted a negative article. I'm unplugging from that website. Not even gonna bother to check any articles from there. Not worth it. I advise all YG stans, or fans of a particular YG Group/Artist to do the same. Let's not give her our clicks.

    Those users on nb are hypocrite as fuck too! When sm's girls trainees and uee articles were translated from pann, everybody was like meh don't take it easy, how can you judged someone based on one or two gifs/pictures. But then, taehyun's article from pann were translated, everybody were calling him rude assholes and believe everything even though the pictures were wrong and the article was made by anti. like fuck you Inetz and your hypocrisy!

    Nb girl is so petty and pathetic like she is so desperate for clicks. There are comments with 1000 upvotes and she just translate the ones with 200 upvotes. Lol fucking obvious. Obviously the most upvoted comments were all positive, but she keeps ditching WINNER stuff with lots of upvotes for some random hater's pann full of BS about Taehyun being 'rude'. And those users are hypocritical shitasses who think they are so smart and like to hate on YG to no end, while acting like activists fighting for world peace and justice and criticizing Knetz at every chance they get. It's ridiculous. Where are the articles about 2NE1 and BIGBANG slaying? Where's the 1000+ upvoted comments from 2NE1's performance? Where's the article about Rapmon clarifying the thing with Bobby? That site is so painfully obviously anti-YG. I'm not a YG stan but I enjoy YG music and am an Inner Circle, so I'll just stop going there and giving NB the clicks she wants.

I'm a fan of WINNER, not a YG stan exactly, but I still enjoy YG music and have a soft spot for YG artists, so I'm tired to go there and read some stupid pann made by a hater about Taehyun being 'rude', while switching the picture order and making ti EXTREMELY obvious (and the users wanted so much to believe that they did), instead of a relevant article about WINNER. I remember having an argument with an EXO fan who said I was defending my 'oppar' (when I was just asking to stop jumping into conclusions), while that user did exactly the same with her EXO oppa'r's. The people there are soooo hypocritical and NB is just feeding the hate for YG. The site's just ridiculously anti-YG and filled with BS. Let's not waste our time, battery and clicks.
