ReplyDeleteI think the Japanese ultra nationalist sentiment even though she's Korean-American came from the fact that she posted a picture of the Japanese flag in the island of Dokdo in her Instagram account and around the time of Korea's celebration of their independence from Japan. This was like a year or two ago-can't remember exactly. Some Korean fans saw it before she took it down...but, I'm not sure if she ever took it down. It's a really sensitive issue because the Korean people felt that Japanese imperialism brought them to World War II against their will and as a consequence their country was divided into two as a spoil of war.
