If I am going to rank these albums it would be:
CRUSH (Still the best release this year. Bias aside.)
2014 S/S (A second close tbh. Some says the album is boring and is lacking upbeat songs but I am satisfied. Maybe because I wasn't really expecting that half their album would contain club banger songs.)
RISE (I dislike some songs.)
PLAY (I only liked the three title tracks.)
But overall, every album is good and solid. Now, let's wait for BB.

LOL I still clicked it tho but no one can deny that YG has been very amazing in terms of music this year. All of their albums have been a jam and it's still not over...waiting for Lee Hi, Epik High, and BB<3

exactly, YG's music cannot be tamed despite the scandal. that's great when your talents aren't being marred by your scandals. those that think YG's going down are straight delusional, despite the scandal, no one can deny YG's great year this year. 4/4 albums that are arguably the best of the year.
&& yeah i read that somewhere briefly that their stocks did shoot up? i can't remember what the timing was, but it was close to Bom's scandal or something. YG can't be tamed when they're dropping greatness after greatness.
the cherry on top would be BIGBANG's long awaited comeback but Epik High, Lee Hi, the new girl group or Team B would be awesome but i want BIGBANG. i honestly think we'll get BB in Oct, someone posted their schedule & it looks like Oct is pretty much open. there's no way YG would let them do another Dome tour w/out any new materials, YG isn't that lame right? i pray.
lol don't kill me but YG has this year on locked. they have the scandal of the far, some of the best musical release/albums of this year & arguably 2 of the best rookies of the year who will most likely battle it out for ROY at awards show or will cause major headache for judge panels. AkMu & WINNER making their case while TY & 2NE1 successfully had their comeback. lol don't kill me seriously. it's nothing worth bragging at all but it shows YG's domination, their scandals can't tame them.
As non yg fam fan i actually like all title songs.. For me i liķe 2ne1 /taeyang all songs in album
but for winner/akmu i like only few song. But it depends on ppl taste.

Apink was okay, but got called out for the same old concept.

People poke fun at YG idols sometimes for not being the prettiest or whatever, but that is what saves them.
Because the girls don't have that IU/Suzy/YoonA
image and the boys aren't flower boys ( even tho they have Top) people automatically just look at their talent.
So when scandals happen , no matter how mad people are they still want great music from them. Throughout this whole Bom fiasco has anyone seen like even 10 comments saying "Disband" or "2NE1 is over." Nope. I haven't even seen 1 myself :/ People like their music and as long as they keep delivering people will just move on
hate is inevitable they will probably bring it out in every YG article but i'm just saying that it did not affect YG's business. and about NB i do agree that site is bias which is why i reside here most of the time. YGpress is a safe haven for YG stans.

Yep AKP does the same thing. They start fan wars by publishing something about a group, but maybe leaving out another article for their rival. This ignites fan wars. Very subtle but you can tell they do it. One time they published SNSD's Japan accomplishments, but never mentioned 2NE1's accomplishments. This led to angry BJs and defensive Sones

Ah yes.. Revenue. One person there said that fans should stop saying NB is using her site for clicks. I mean, come on, AdSense, she definitely can bring in revenue. That person thought that there are people out there who did not know about AdSense, AdWords, or SEO.
For me, her disclaimer that "the negative comments blah blah that can usually affect the industry" is just her justification to choose comments that are according to her "taste." Yeah, true enough, some negative comments DID affect the industry, such as Bom being out of "Roommate" and Yoona being out of "Nodame Cantabile." But that is not so all the time, especially when it comes to YG and music because YG artists are continuing to slay charts.
Oh yes, I agree that AKP is such a s***ty site. Especially after the Ailee controversy, the people at OneHallyu no longer trust AKP.

There are people who said that AOA's "Short Hair" was good, but I am just said that AOA joined the bandwagon of sexy girl groups. I don't understand why they shed their band image when it was the one that made them unique. I pity the drummer for being out of the group. If the girls could have worked harder in their concept and be unique like 2NE1, that would be great.
