1. [+9617, -147] Yang Hyun Suk seems to have listened to the fans' wishes from the seventh album. Other matters just go straight from one ear to the other but he definitely listens when it comes to music.
2. [+8641, -310] I'll be honest and say that I think the album would have been ruined if they went according to YG's style. I hope they keep letting Epik High grow independently!
3. [+8165, -260] This album is incredible... Born Hater... Daebak...
4. [+6142, -189] It's as legendary as their 4th and 5th album.
5. [+5788, -122] The songs in this album are truly amazing...
6. [+895, -37] It was possible for them to make music without any rush because they were in the comfort of YG. On top of that, they were able to join on a program like Superman is Back and attract the public's appeal with an image as "Haru's dad". If they were in a smaller company, they would be urged to release their music and promote as soon as possible in order to make money. If that were the case, the music quality would drop considerably and they wouldn't have been able to release as great of an album. In turn, Epik High would have ruined their image... That's the advantage of being in a large company because its artists are able to keep their individuality musically. The truth is in some cases, the bigger the company the higher the quality.
7. [+751, -43] So in the end YG is the winner.. other companies invest in group dances and cosmetic surgery while YG invests in music. They have proven that in order to survive within their company, the artist must be able to compose and write their lyrics... If you read interviews about YG's rookies, 90% of the time they are talking about their song and its composition such as "There were a lot of difficulties while making this song." "We changed the lyrics on a dozen occasions." On the other hand, if you read interviews about other companies rookies', 90% of the time they're talking about their group dances or their looks. "Our choreography point this time around is the crab dance or the butt dance." Seriously... are artists just dancers??? I am honestly acknowledging that YG has solidified their spot in our country musically. An artist's music is more important than their looks.
