I listened to Winner's album for the first time two weeks ago and I honestly loved it. I wasn't expecting anything as I was not an avid fan or viewer of the shows YG releases on them but their music is pleasant. Others might think it might sound like Bigbang because they are in YG but its not. Kang Seung Yoon's voice is lovely. Their group has so much potential to be a top group cause from what I heard from their album, I am sure going to listen in their next releases. :)

yg should put more effort and trust in winner. they are super talented but get the short end of the stick. theyre not promoted that well compared to other groups and only their own fans know their worth and true ability. their album was great, but i believe that they have more to show. sucks because they dont have a bunch of recognition overseas [international fans]

Taehyun is my bias but Im in love with KSY. I listen his solo more than Winner songs lol KSY voice is just wonderful you can listen to it everyday. KSY is a natural born artist. A truly gifted artist imo

People were just flipping mad. It somehow have reverse effect on iKON. The more YG promote iKON, the demand somehow back to WINNER. I pity those iKON boys since they receive hates when they do nothing wrong. They deserve a debut since they train and work hard for it but YG favoritism is revolting and just annoyed the existing fandom. I also dont like how he blatantly compete them head to head. He successfully create hype for both team but the fandoms are a mess.

There's so much more to come from WINNER and so much more things they haven't even experienced yet. Stop being so hung up on their debut as being like the only chance they're going to get. What do you want them to do? Publish articles and articles and articles of their success? Why do you get so angry when y'all have all the receipts and screenshots of their more than successful debut? to reassure yourself? They're so busy and have so many things lined up. Enjoy WINNER and their songs. They have a lot more opportunities that will be given to them in the future.

What do we want? YG posted CL's SIA performance, so we want that of Winner's as well. YG posted Epik High's Sketchbook appearance, so we want that of Winner's as well. YG posted Bobby's featuring on the Nylon magazine, so we hope that he would at least post one of Winner's featuring (ELLE, Bazaar or Star1, heck anyone is fine).
The thing is, we are not asking YG to give Winner special treatment. The only thing we ask for is for him to treat them just as well as how he treats his other artists. That isn't too much, is it?
And yes, while we are at it, he should also stop shading Winner. And posting article about winning not just any random poll, but a freaking SIA is not just for assurance. It's the acknowledgement we think Winner deserves.
So yea, we know Winner still has a long way to go. But that doesn't mean they should be deprived of the proper treatment they deserve. Unless you are a member of this fandom, I don't think you will truly understand.

Guys, they might have had a short promo cycle- but it was pretty successful. I'm in Korea right now, and all of Sep- all you could hear was WINNER (The whole album). Now, not so much. The only ones that I frequently still hear are Empty, Don't Flirt, and I'm Him. Right now Seoul is obsessed with Epik High and IU.

I don't want to start a fanwar. I just have this thought after reading many winner's article and k-netizen comment about that. And many "not winner fans" write a good thing about them. Remember the comment when winner appeared in weekly idol? They said they're just passing by and start to like winner more than exo.

Ikon has to debut, and Bigbang needs to comeback. Winner isn't the only artist in YG. They literally just finished album promotion and concert tour, they're probably preparing for the year end shows now. Boys gotta rest a little after new year, and they can go back to new album.

It's useless for him to apologise only after everything is said and done. I don't blame WINNER fans for being angry, anyone can see they have the potential to be so much bigger, but are being limited by the fact that they're not being promoted very well at all.

just to preface this, i am a winner-stan.
but at least on the web front, yg's been acknowledging winner as much as the rest. they really only post official links to extra content, lol. they posted winner's sia perf and elle/bazaar bts vids on the days they were uploaded. bobby's nylon photoshoot was mentioned because nylon uploaded an fb album with extra pics. elle, bazaar, star1 didn't. if there isn't any extra content, they don't mention it. like there wasn't a post about CL's dazed and confused photoshoot either since there's no official web-content for it.
That's the purpose of the news article. It's a form of public relations using communication with an intended message for an target audience. I'm sure YG's professional PR team keep tract of the responses as a criteria in formulating their next strategy. The responses will give them an idea of what's the public's (especially the fans) perception of the situation is and if it can be favorably change. This specific news article is to address the issue of "favoritism" among groups in the company and members in the group because it's driving a wedge among fans. And judging from the comments, the level of trust has eroded which is bad news for the PR team.
I was referring to the first comment. My point is, don't generalize these comments (that were probably written by WINNER fans) that all k-netz love them. I by no mean am I being negative. I do believe that they are popular. Of course, the amount of upvotes on these top comments proves that they have a good fandom. I don't disagree with you lol.

i don't know how to please fans ! if they work too much they blame the company for treating them like slaves and if they don't they whine about not promoting enough . They actually had more promotion than 2NE1 and LeeHi When they first debut, but no one is pleased.
