1. [+2668, -147] Seems like she's trying to deliberately look deadly ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
2. [+2334, -116] Didn't know a hanbok could be this displeasing to look at...
3. [+1562, -77] Truly... 'deadly'...
4. [+1417, -80] I wonder what the problem is?...
5. [+1216, -68] ?????????????
6. [+778, -66] It's not a 'deadly' charm but more like a deadly injury. Thought she was Oh Na Mi
7. [+665, -63] Girl: Don't you think CL's very charming? Guy: You look like CL Girl: What did you say to me?!
8. [+546, -38] I don't think 'deadly' is the right word for this... I just think she looks ugly ㅠㅠ
9. [+454, -31] Looks scary ㄷㄷㄷㄷ

1. [+89, -6] I don't particularly like Japan but I'm envious of the fact that they wear their kimonos out on special occasions... Our country doesn't do that often so I hope they would establish a day for all of us to wear our hanbok... and for everyone to feel comfortable wearing the hanbok out and about even just for that day.
2. [+75, -12] I find her really cool even as a girl myself~ Hope she succeeds ㅋㅋ
3. [+36, -8] It's been a while since I've felt the beauty of the hanbok
4. [+44, -16] All she did was cover her face but she looks beautiful
5. [+26, -3] That hanbok must be extremely expensive
6. [+20, -1] They uploaded the worst picture onto the main article! They should have included these pictures!!
7. [+3, 0] These shots are awesome... the one on the main article is a bit burdensome...

its just me but if someone said i look like cl i will be proud because cl is effortlessly cool looking
"6. [+20, -1] They uploaded the worst picture onto the main article! They should have included these pictures!!"
yeah...
Thank you for still translating this! I personally thought the pictorial was really pretty and was curious of how the comments would be... sad that they can't seem to see and appreciate CL's beauty. Too bad for them.

Um what?
I think it was meant to be sarcastic about CL's looks :\ That she looks beautiful cus she covered her face up? Idk thats how I interpreted it
The picture on the main article is really bad you have to admit it. The hair looks really messy and her make-up is too heavy for the hanbok(when you wear a hanbok, make up tends to be a bit lighter) andthe lipstick looks tacky.
The pictures on the 2nd article looks a lot better.
They are so stupid ugh
Thanks KNETZ, i can't wait until CL's eng song out and all your faves cover her song in the stage.
I gotta admit not a fan of the first pic. I think it's the combination of the lipstick and the hair. The last two I like though. Especially the last one. She looks so gorgeous.
I interpreted it as "even though she covered her face she still looks beautiful" but who knows what they really meant, you can only go so far with text.
Eh? May be that's just you in Korea.
I won't mind if anyone said that I look like CL. I want it tbh. She's really cool, confident, strong, and beautiful in her own way. SO why not? I mean, is it a must for all women to look fairy-like or fragile or baby face to be beautiful? Lol.
Am I the only one who think that CL's beauty is extraordinary?she gives off a vibe that no one else has.Her personality is great. She got her own character and it is good.Saying someone is ugly or deadly or whatever they're calling CL is a step that shows that they're stupid. They don't know what is art.I bet they don't even have a life outside internet.Probably just jerking off to a fancam instead of trying to make money as much as artists that they bash on internet.Peace no war xx
Koreans really find her ugly LOL. Now I know why she chose to debut in the US than establish her status in Korea first. Some pics really look weird and tryhard. I don't like her makeup in some. I really hope I see CL someday without a ton of eyeliner LOL.
1st picture is a bit meh for me too...
but the 2nd and 3rd picture is just... just so classy and artistic and that beautiful jawline at the third picture... dang...i'll never understand Knets' beauty standards because CL for me is a very beautiful woman...
But they were all good pictures.
It's sad that majority updated the negative comments. A sprinkle positive ones still exists at least. It's fucking sad that assholes could only see their own assassholes, no wonder they called it ugly. They couldn't get pass sight of their own buttholes.
I mean it's the typical CL bashing comments, like literally the same.
It is abslutely the too-dark/thick eyebrows's fault
Lipstic is gorgeous.
5. [+26, -3] That hanbok must be extremely expensive
I know it looks insanley expensive @-@
I know. I'm just pissed 😂
cl's face is so unique.she's pretty to me.
This photoshoot is beautiful. She is glowing. Love how fantasy-like it feels.
it's really hard to tell. The hair is weird for sure, but also the way that's combined with the overall makeup. I thought at first it's the eyebrows too and then I looked at the lipstick and I got confused. I think it could have worked, if they kept either the lipstick, eyebrows or the hair (if they're aiming for a unique concept. I just think that having all three together for some reason makes everything clash.
No problem with comparison to CL..
CL looks 100% Korean! Her bareface is what most Korean look like without plastic surgery. I dont know why they do not embrace this typical look of their people. So many people go for PS to have big double eyelids, small nose & V-line, denying all their natural features. Seriously!
Imo, CL is beautiful not because of her inborn features but her confidence and aura.
this pictorial was so damn fabulous! she looks so damn fine in that hanbok *v*
I dont want to understand these people
These comments sure will change if she makes it in America.
Funny how.they said all these mean comments while she exudes the korean beauty that they dream to have. I love CL & it hurt me to read all of these hate.
Do well and be successful. I adore you Cl.
If somebody ever said to me that I look like CL, I would thank her/him! Cant they see she owns a total badass aura??? It's like she can defend herself without trying to do anything or say anything. Her charm and aura already say it all.
Jeez knetz are idiots. All these shots are gorgeous. I don't know why they hate on CL. But if she were to get plastic surgery they'd still bash and be like "Sighh she's was fine the way before why did she fall under pressure" Ugh half the time I feel like 2NE1 is too good for Korea. International fans appreciate them more
"Ugh half the time I feel like 2NE1 is too good for Korea. International fans appreciate them more"
The best comment.
It's really true that the country or the place where you lived in is the place that won't be proud of you much.
The first pic is not really appealing...
but the other two took my breath away, she sure is charming <3 <3
For a split second there I thought I was accidentally linked to Netizenbuzz! But this is a healthy initiative on the blog's admin's part to translate articles even with generally negative comments as we all should be about transparency. We also need to know about the views that are opposite to ours. It's not saying that their views are the truth nor should we say that ours are. We need to know them to keep us grounded because in the end it's not the fans nor the anti-fans who will have the last say but the non-fans. The public.
dont get it why korean people find it 'displeasing to look at', cuz i use that pic of CL as my LINE Display Picture, and my friends keep asking me who is she, and telling me that she looks extremely amazing even tho they didnt even know who she is.
CL kindly wanted to representing korea to the world, yet Korean People shamelessly bashed her. wow.

That sounds like a great idea actually, but I just don't think that's the right mentality to go about implementing it lol.
