1. [+1477, -33]  They're letting these kids go through another survival after having experienced the bitterness of one already...

2. [+1210, -37]  I feel bad for these kids.  Honestly.  Yang CEO is really going through with this...

3. [+1149, -197]  A few months ago, Yang Hyun Suk said, "The losing team will not debut after the winning team."

4. [+838, -49]  ... They're doing another??  I feel like things are taking a wrong turn now...

5. [+709, -68]  Well, what do you expect from Yang Trash ㅎ

6. [+185, -8]  ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ A cruel fairy tale for their debut.

7. [+185, -10]  The way I think about it, I think Yang Hyun Suk is doing everything in order to debut Team B...

8. [+179, -7]  Another survival...  The kids must be so tired of it.  If you're going to debut them, just train them and then let them come out.

9. [+174, -14]  I pity B.I and Bobby.  They've gone through three survival shows now.  You guys have to debut, you must.  I'm really cheering you on.

10. [+187, -10]  How can I look forward to this... I feel bad for Team B.  Just debut them without making any member changes.

11. [+153, -7]  They must be so stressed...

12. [+129, -3]  This is too cruel... how can you put B.I and Bobby through 3 survivals...

We'll see the other 3 trainees. I heard one of them looks like 'SM' material lol. But bias aside, Yunhyeong prolly the weakest. Donghyuk and Jinny are so good in dancing/freestyle so YG must keep em.

Another 'wake me up after September end' moment. But I'm actually being really accepting about this show, if the original Team B lineup was able to make others quake in their boots, imagine the improved lineup.

it's not that bad, idk why people are kinda pissed about it. Jinwoo waited for 4 years, LSH & KSY competed in 2 survival shows & MINO hopped around 2 groups until WINNER. it'll be ok because it'll only pay off in the end.
Deja vu, WIN last year had very similar response but folks who watched it got really emotionally invested into it. possible similar outcome.
I'm ready & look forward to it.

I'll watch it, I want to see how much they have improved.
The 3 new kids better be vocalists. If one of them is rapper, then good luck for him.

B.I and Bobby were the ones that wanted to go on SMTM3.

YG already stated at the beginning of WIN that whoever loses would have to go through member changes or disband. This is the member changes. I would rather see it than YG doing it behind the fans' back and announce "ohh suprise a new line-up and I changed a few members blablahblah". And honestly, Team B are still trainees. This is how it is in the trainee world, it's competitive. I want to see them (esp. their vocal line) improve. Adding 3 other trainees would boost their morale.

I'm confuse too why they're so pressed about it.
Trainee's life is always been hard and full of competition to begin with. No need to be pressed just because there's reality show for it. This show just show it to us. And good things, we can respect them more when they debut later because we know how hard they fight through the competition. People will feel more attached too.
Even with it or not, trainees will always find it hard to decide about their future. The reality show will help them to be popular even before debut. It'll help them when they debut and it can help them if they can't debut yet. Look at winner and team b. The debut team being so popular. The not debut yet team being so popular even as trainees. All because of WIN :)

How cruel I agree. Why not debut them afterwards like srsly wasn't Win enough? They already shown their potential!

it's not that bad ? can you try understanding team B fans ? how would you feel if winner had lost to team B with a small margin and had to go through another survival show with the possibility of 1-2 memberd getting cut ?

I find it funny that some ppl still act so surprised with this. WIN worked tremendously for almost everyone, and by this I mean the boys not only got to chart their songs, but also received respect from a lot of people that matter in the industry (fans included) -- something that most boy groups that debuted/ debuting the traditional way are having a hard time getting. So yes YG will use it again. I didn't watch WIN in its entirety but I might check this out.

Anyway, I wonder what will happen to the new girl group. Would YG focus on them once M&M ends or will the company follow the WINNER route again, debut-wise? Ngl but I really want to see the girls now, I hope they get to do something soon, too.

This is just too cruel. B.I and Bobby must be under a lot of stress :/ And I don't really mind if he adds more members to Team B, but I'm really hoping that he doesn't eliminate any of them. That would just be too cruel.

He's fucking up the group dynamic entirely. One of the huge things Team B had going on for them was their teamwork, and that was achieved organically; if he messes up that by adding new members, then I don't know how it'll work out in the end for them.

Personally, I think YG will not even think of getting rid of Double B; not after charting so high with their SMTM so gs and letting them write Winner's debut track.

Damn it. I want to know the mechanics of the show before I start reacting. YG, please tell us now. It's only a few weeks away. We need to prepare our hearts.

How long have these new trainees trained? I remember on WIN, JinHwan or someone kept saying how the 11 of them were the only YG male trainees, and thus were so close. Even DongHyuk, YunHyung, and JunHwe only trained for a year prior to WIN. Did these three join after WIN?

well i love team b as a group but if one or two of them will be cut off
there'll be another company willing to pick them up since they're still
young and have enough experience under their belt. it's different case
with team a since they wouldn't have had much opportunity if they lost
the W.I.N survival. they'd just simply disband, seungyoon would carry on with his solo and YG wouldn't bother making another survival for them.

Kayla said...

sorry but that disbanding thing is pure bullshit . I've seen many winner fans saying that and I'm honestly concerned , where is their common sense ? why would YG disband team A when both team A and Team B are needed to make up for BB's absence after thei enlistmen/disbandement . Moreover do you think YG would have disbanded them when they had such a big fanbase and fanbase = Money ? please

Beside everything in WIN was made for team A to win . ( the fact that 3 already well-known members were in the team , the pitg party in everh episodes to gain sympathy of the viewers and make them vote for them , the screentime , the fact that 3//6 members of team B were introduced near the end of WIN when all team 1A members were introduced in the first episodes , the fact that YG made team B change their song a day before the 2nd battle + he gave them baby (the most hated song ever) and officially missing you to Team A ( a well- loved song among korean etc...)

Everybody could have knwon they would win after episode 1

lol i want to explain but you're already explaining yourself. The whole point of W.I.N show was for the exposure, and like you said yourself WIN was made for team A to win. YG has planned this all along. That's why I'm saying the whole disbanding thing in a light manner since I knew it will never happen and Winner has debuted anyway. My point was if Team B will go through another survival and some members got eliminated, there'll still be many chances in the future. OT6 fans might be upset because honestly they're already a cohesive unit and we all know them as six all along. Going through member changes will affect the team since they have to adapt with the new composition (and probably took longer time for them to debut) and this is perhaps what we wanted the least. I honestly root for team B (even since W.I.N days even though I knew A would win), but I have to give a chance for other trainees as well. Yes it's cruel, but what part of the entertainment industry that aren't cruel? A lot of trainees got eliminated more than once before they actually debut, so basically everyone went through a survival. Just because they don't put it on a show doesn't mean they didn't went through the same hardship. If you look at it in the positive way the eliminated trainee in this show will get more exposure than the other trainees out there and it'll be easier for them to be picked up by another company in the future, at least a lot of agencies will be interested in them. In other words they'll still get benefits even when they're eliminated. So yes, it's not that bad.

Kayla said...

oh ok now I get your point , I thought you were one of those dumb winner fans who still think YG hate team A and would have disbanded them if they had lost

I just didnt like the way you said it's not that bad and compared it to winner cause most winner fans wouldnt have said that of that happened to their faves . But yeah you're right and tbh I'm totally willing to give a chance to the new trainees if they are talented .
