i wanted to cry so bad coz i felt really bad for 2NE1, as a hardcore fan it really hurts me seeing how knets treats 2NE1 like are they even humans?
This year is my most satisfied Melon Music Awards. YG Family slays the awards + Other awards's winners are all ranking high at chart. Last year was SM year while this year is YG year. I'm happy to see WINNER, Taeyang & AKMU stages. A bit pity 2NE1 wasn't there. First time to see YG artists fanboying so hard for other artists (WINNER & AKMU). I'm so satisfied &pleased right now. Let's rock MAMA2014 stages next.
Actually they don't hate 2NE1. They blame Park Bom but those only small size people. See the upvotes. I believe 2NE1 still have lots of people who support them.

tbh, im not sure why last year was SM's year…. SM's digital slayayge wasn't that great at all or it's never really great. i really thought the award winners were wtf-ish.

While I was happy that Taeyang won a daesang,I was also feeling sad and empty that my girls were not there. I even looked for the videos of 21 was announced as the winner of top10 and best electronica music but i didnt found both.
Year end award without them isnt perfect for me. Miss those days our girls walked up on stage proudly to receive the awards and performed enthusiastically to hype up the audience. :/
but peoples who's not yg stan said this year MMA so biased and the performance are so boring. -_-

true, i guess it can both ways but YG's digital dominance this year justifies the winners in a sense… last year SM didnt even dominate digitally at all, they destroyed physically, but w.e it is what it is.
Most people support 2NE1. 2NE1 got over 600K worth of votes. It's just the small minority that are pissy.

I only watch music awards since 2009 because of 2ne1 and this year would be different. No special.stage for the idols that I really like. Though it such a waste Im still l lucky that there is AKMU and Winner to watch out for.
I'm salty af because no 2NE1 but WINNER's whole performance made up for it. And why do always Taehyun get the girl? I disapprove.

My thoughts exactly. Lets just all point our fingers at Bom, like she wanted shit to happen. And lets not forget it's her fault that netz can't get over a case that's been closed up for 4years.
Oh and for the rest of the girls that "yg isn't taking care of"; lets just ignore that CL is in LA preparing for her debut, Minzy who was a guest singer for Epik High (3 times) for the past couple weeks, and Dara who just celebrated her birthday in her second home.
Literally side-eyeing those kind of people (apparently there's a handful of "blackjacks" that think like that too -_-)
The difference is that even non yg fans in korea agree that YG artists deserved all those awards because they obviously slayed this year while.. Last year's MMA, you could see a lot side-eyeing the basis of winners, knowing that they didn't do that great, esp. the Daesang winners last year lol. All the comments with great upvotes I've seen so far in different articles about MMA this year are all positive about YG bagging 8 crowns tho. And about those who keeps saying the award show was boring, lmao they're only pissed 'cuz their oppars weren't there.
So these dognetizens think that Park Bom is the reason why 2NE1 wasn't there, huh? 2NE1 cant obviously perform w/o her. How about you all reflect now 'cause you were the ones who kept saying she needs to reflect and be gone for taking those freaking depression pills! People who is not yg stan? How many of them? From the way you wrote it, it seemed that all people (except YG stans) claimed this MMA was so biased, boring etc when in reality, only tiny part of 'people' said that, and majority of them are fans of idols/artist who didn't even make it into top 10. Most complains (at least from i-fans) are that IU and God got daesang when Apink and Block B won best dance awards. Just compare it to MMA last year and 2012. The funny thing though, MBC is known as SM biased LOL.
