Let her prove herself, then judge.
I'm excited..but there's other actors out there who have been in the field longer than she has and hasn't gotten a lead role yet...
I like her... but didn't she literally JUST make her acting debut months ago??? How is she already fit to be the lead?;;
I prefer models as an actor/actress than idols tbh. Some models are really good in acting (e.g. Kim Woo Bin, Lee Jong Suk, Cha Seung Won etc..) Lee Sung Kyung acting was good too in her recent drama! I really love her character. We just have to watch whether she suit being the lead role then we can judge.
And these people (idols and models) will never prove enough unless you give them a chance.
Lol..If she wasn't under YG, no one would be talking about media playing and all that crap. She got a break in her role in "love thats ok" and she has been in demand ever since. Thats what happens to EVERY actor who is in a huge, popular drama. Lee jong suk, Won Bin...No one complained about them all of a sudden getting lead roles did they?. It is either that they are associating her with YG OR the fact that she is a female...For some reason the double standard between goodlooking males and females is very STRONG in Korea. They put men in a pedestal and criticize females like there is no tomorrow.
They wouldn't be taking so many untalented actresses/actors if the audience doesn't value look over acting. So yeah, big part of it is your fault.
if she wasn't in YG, no one would be judging... And it's not like she's an idol either (and netizens love hating idol-actors..). I don't get why they're in such an uproar.
And the ones criticising and discriminating are 99% women...

Thts the thing. It takes jong suk and woobin years to become lead and tht is thru class of 2013. This girl is a great actress well hopefully she will be a great one in the future but she hasnt got enough experience to lead a drama yet judging by her acting skills in its ok it love. She needs more exposure then people will welcome her first lead role and bc when u watch kdrama the lead actress usually have to carry the drama and shows quirk and emotional side of the characters hence why lead actress are just a huge thing
