3. [+2102, -180] 2NE1, Akdong Musician, Taeyang, Winner, Epik High, and Hi Soohyun all got #1 on the charts with their full length albums. An amazing end to this year would be if PSY and Big Bang made a comeback ㅠㅠ I'm looking forward to YG next year as their new girl group and iKON will be coming out

Yes they all got first place despite the scandals....That just let's you know good music is really all that matters in the end.
In terms of musicality, no one can ever beat YG! YG sucks but despite all of thag, I lpve the artists and their songs!
Oh yeah, they say imitation is the best form of flattery, huh? First, a company releases the 'Who's Next' (YG is known for that) and now they come up with their male trainees survival show. Wow!
That's what you call IN YOUR FACE! Hate all you want but YG will keep showing you they're not going anywhere because they know their business more than anyone else.
I don't give a damn about their scandals as long as they make good music.

And can i just say, those people that say 'YG doesn't own survival shows', 'YG doesn't own "Who is next/Who's next"' get on my nerves.

They're not making the industry a friendly competition to drive for further innovations but rather blatantly 'imitating' another company to better them. It's obvious that Starship entertainment is using the promotion strategy of YG to (in attempt) promote their artists but their fans are just shielding them saying that 'YG doesn't own that *insert excuse*'.

The answer is ..they wrote & compose their own mysic hence the individuality & distinctiveness. I love how the songs can be recognize as the sound from the artist and not sounding like the company.

YG's future is bright...their pre-debut groups are bound to be successful cuz their debut success rate has been 90% since like 2NE1's legendary debut.

well now Super Junior's Khuhyun At Gwanghwamum is No 1.. So YG still have rivals...YG fighting
Hopefully 2 or 3 years down the road we have Yang Hongseok representing YG and Kyuhyun representing SM competing to be a Ballad king ? I think this 2 awesome guys will have a good battle..

No one can beat YG in terms of musicality, i would rather have that than a company who only relies on 'good image' coz if one big scandal comes on their way, they're done.
not really, if they released it at the same i don't think he can beat them.. & i think Kyu's a fl album? while Hi Suhyun's only a digital single, if it's an album their entire songs would have dominated the charts making hard for the other to enter the top 10

Well afterall it's our own tastes of music. You can have your opinion.
But I would mind if their scandals are awful ones like abuse and other immoral behavior. Even Se7en scandal makes me lose respect for him. But I can't & shouldn't hate Bom or Seungri as their alleged scandals are not due to maliciousness or evilness.

tbh, kh's latest solo song is the only nice song produced by sm this year. the kind of song that you don't need to listen to it multiple times just to like it :) but yeah, YG's music >>>> SM's music
This is the result of 2 years of preparation.. Success doesn't come easy .: i am really happy for kyuhyun and hope to see more of his solo works
