can't wait before anyone says he wont debut her he has no choice by contract he has to debut her within a year
it'll take around 5-12 months before Katie's debut.
If YG goes with the supposed plan, BigBang is supposed to comeback in May, Winner is up the air but a comeback around August is reasonable and iKON should comeback before September or October because it's unreasonable for them to debut exactly after 1 year. A comeback for Lee Hi and AKMU should come in between. Epik High may not comeback this year because of their tour...
this is a reasonable calendar considering how they waster January-April... HIRE ME YG

#6 and #8 have a point. YG is like a child. Katie is his newest plaything and BigBang is his favorite toy. He'll find momentary delight in 2NE1, Epik High, Jinusean, AKMU, etc., but he only truly enjoys his new, shiny "toys," and his favorite BigBang. I'm still wondering how he's gonna promote BigBang for that long and it's not going to team kill WINNER, iKon, and whoever else I'd having a comeback.
YG should just stop being the judge for kpop star. Seriously how many kids he wants to recruit? He can't even manage his current artists and he want to recruit more? His whole shit plans really give me headache. I really reallllly hope we can get bigbang's comeback this may.
And I think he will put katie kim with lee hi as duo or in the new gg but I think she is going to debut as duo with lee hi.

He probably won't let Big Bang promote that long in Korea. Longest I say would be 1 month. They'll have a world tour immediately so they can't really promote their album for long. I'm pretty sure iKON's debut will be at least a month after Big Bang's comeback.
another one to add to the dungeon. i mean look at lee hi, katie will end up the same. i wish yg and jyp will retire from kpopstar both have enough artist at the moment and both have groups to debut.
Oh I expect that. The problem I have is the music charts. BigBang, as proven with "Monster," don't have to promote anything to top the charts. It's still a problem for the groups coming after. It's still going to be a team kill on YGE's behalf because the other groups will fight against BigBang for the top spot.

well, they said superstar k is for 'real' musician and kpopstar is like a broadcasted audition for upcoming kpop star...
i don't watch this show, but even if they're really that mediocre, they're still probably in the same level w/ ppl that go through open audition (you can watch some clips in youtube), but with more public exposure, so it's still a win-win situation.
yg has come a long way since the old days when they prefer talents over everything else. which makes sense, because they're now a big mainstream company (we're talking millions of dollar here). To earn money costs money as well... if one generation fails they won't have money for the next one, they can't risk it.
but yeah, as a fan i would like to see some really talented people in kpop :/

They're both capable enough as a soloist so why put them in a group?
