[Instiz] A fan took a picture of Mino's personal passport information?

"This picture has been receiving attention on portal sites as it seems like one of the fans carrying a camera took a photo of Mino's passport.  Many fans are upset, though it's unclear whether she did take a picture of it or not, since the passport contains Mino's personal information such as his resident registration number."

[1] "Heol... shouldn't they be restraining fans from doing that?"

[2] "Oh no, not Mino's passport photo....... the one where it looks like his upper lip got erased ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹"

[3] "I'm sure Mino must have noticed it though... please don't be like that to my future husband."

[4] "The outside of the passport is fine but if she took a picture of the personal information inside it then that's not right."

[5] "Back then, some fan site masters would purposely do that in order to find out what their resident registration number is so they could use the number to make inquiries and track down their flights.  I don't think this is allowed now though."

[6] "Heol... just take a picture of Mino instead."

[7] "Are there no bodyguards?"

[8] "Wow... I really got goosebumps.  Didn't know some people would go that far."

[9] "What is she doing... his resident registration number is there..."

[10] "Please don't take a picture of the passport photo Mino hates so much"

[11] "But I don't think she could have taken a picture of it that close right?  If she did then that's seriously isn't right."

[12] "I heard that's how fans find out what their registration number are... goosebumps."

1. [+47, 0]  Makes me want to hit her with her camera

2. [+39, 0]  What's she doing?  What a nutcase... so thoughtless

3. [+30, 0]  She's a Chinese fan ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹I knew it

4. [+27, 0]  That's going overboard... all his personal information is there... what a disrespectful act.  I hope she can realize that.

5. [+23, 0]  No answer to this girl...

6. [+5, 0]  What's she doing.. I feel embarrassed by this

7. [+2, 0]  But it's not just Chinese fans who are like this ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹  Our country definitely has sasaeng fans too.  Of course there are fansite masters out there who are respectful but sadly most of them are like this.

We can't really tell from this angle but I don't think she did. IC's are really respectful and fun, from what I've seen ^^.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she really did try to take a photo of his passport. Sasaeng fans are such a big problem in Korea and I'm sure every group has one--with Winner's growing popularity, there's no doubt they have sasaengs as well. Remember that picture of Taehyun from the convenience store that a sasaeng fan got? and that was just pre-debut... This is nothing compared to what's happened to EXO/DBSK... Ugh. It's honestly disgusting. I just hope it doesn't get worse :( I don't even consider these kinds of fans as 'fans' at all.

I watched a documentary on sasaeng fans once and it was so disturbing :(( Im really scared for the boys. Theyre getting popular so it only makes sense that theres more fans but that also means more crazy fans :( Dont they have laws against sasaengs in Korea????

I've always disliked Fans in airports. There is no need. they are often not travelling and while the area is technically public they create hazards that can escalate into dangers at the time or later.

This is also a step too far to gain access to personal information and should be reasons to put forward tougher restrictions on airport access. At the very least having a barrier further back to prevent non passengers seeing people's passports. Maybe banning the use of such camera in the airport.

I was shocked when I have heard how many 'official' fan clubs purposely get idols personal information for 'safe keeping' or other ways of helping to prevent their personal lives ending up in the media which I think gives fans too much power and propagates this much more personally involved mentality, and that's even before it goes to the level of sasaeng, which takes information and more for personal gain. Sadly the problem doesn't seem to be getting better, but I guess with the digital age it makes access to information easier, sharing it much faster and younger people are getting involved and thinking its normal.

Inner Circle has been a respectful fandom with WINNER, I know the boys already have saesangs but I hope they just stop :/

They just need our love, support and respect.

And this:
"Heol... just take a picture of Mino instead."

AGREE! Don't miss that gorgeous face, girl!

That's sad if it's true then bc even a Korean reporter wrote about it + it's on Instiz now and Korean fans are really uhappy about it :\

don't blame someone if you don't know for sure

This is incredibly problematic of you to translate yg press. You didn't write the article but CHOOSING to translate an article that has zero proof, just one awkward photo from an angle that may or may not show a fansite master doing something .... It's irresponsible. This is already going to be a big deal because it's a rumored Chinese fansite but to make it a global issue and get the international fandom involved is stupid. I'm really disappointed in you. This is gonna be a witch hunt and with no real justification.

So you dont like to look to airport photo i guess since you dont like fans in the airport~

Jussy McCarthy said...

Indeed. Who needs to have photos of tired and grumpy people going from A to B, we've all seen people walk before. Its entitling fans to even more of the celebrities time and life when really that should be discouraged.

However they are unfortunately difficult to avoid on many blogs and news sites and with the paparazzi turning airport travel into catwalk and product placement opportunities (so they're dolled up tired people) there has been more of it (so it goes back to how the hazard can escalate) including paparazzi blocking the front of the airport and forcing celebrities to take certain routes causing more problems the system is a mess and instead of taking measures to dissipate the situation and dissuade problematic behaviour its been allowed to develop into a norm that is part of the entertainment industry. I accept it goes on but I do not agree with the principle of it or encouragement of it.

That's depressing. Usually YGE male groups don't have huge sasaeng problems. I mean TOP and GD (and I think Tae Yang) have had the odd complaint, but sasaengs aren't usually an issue for YGE in general.
