Dara's voice can sound squeaky at times. I really like her singing voice though. I guess they want her voice to sound like the usual "soft-sounding" voice that most female lead actresses have :s
Seungyoon fans are doing their best in flooding comments and upvoting all comments about how great his acting and singing is. Nothing wrong with that (more power to them), if they feel that they can support their idol by making it all about him then good for them. Actually, if you go back to episodes 1 and 2 most BEST comments are now even (it's now about Dara and Seungyoon not Seungyoon alone) compared to what it was before because there are now outside views (views not from fans).

Maybe you need to change your attitude when watching her because when I watch we broke up. I see her as Noh Woori and she is Noh Woori. And don't use that I really Love Dara card and diss her at the end. You always feel that way because you are either too attached to her or you will always see her lacking. Anyway, Dara is doing very well give her a chance.
I wonder if people from the first article actually gave any of her webdramas a chance (except for #10)..Since the comments are from a regular news article and not Naver Starcast (people who actually watched her act), almost all of them seem to be judging either the pics or just commenting with their biased views. It's a pity if they're judging solely on those cameos on Producer because those were too short to truly judge anything.
Anyway, Dara reads criticism and said that she's gonna take more lessons/will work on her vocalization so please look after her in the meantime. She's probably gonna try to change her voice in the future. I personally think her acting is getting there but it's sad that they just dismiss or not give her a chance and just join the bandwagon on what others say about her voice.
But isn't the webtoon character she is portraying like that? Not the usual soft sounding voice LOL. I would have understand if they use that voice card against her, if she is portraying some meek character and her voice would come out lively instead of soft sound

I've read the webtoon. I think they did an okay job with Woori, but the story kind of changed so I can't be too sure. I think it's more of the fact that I've known her for so long as "2NE1 Dara" that it's very hard for me to picture her as someone else, especially when the roles she plays seem pretty similar to her/the personality we've seen. I think it's also the reason why I don't like knowing too much about an actor because I start to think of "them in real life" rather than the characters they're playing. It's like watching my sister play someone else and I just can't help but see her as "my sister", kinda- thing? Idk, i think it's just me D:

True. Bandwagon haters are such a pain in the ass. Hahaha and yes basing on the comments, they never gave her webdramas a chance. It's more of comments basing on how I feel about Idol Actors acting rather than watching her acting projects and about her producers stint, these people act like she is required to do an Oscar Awards worthy acting. She delivered what was asked of her. She was very funny and she's definitely a scene stealer.
But dara in real life is a calm person and quite reserved,,though sometimes she is awkward,,but im happy that she is improving,,i hope that she can find hee suitable voice tone...since for sure she's doing vocalization,,maybe dara should not portray a bubbly character now,,like maybe melodramatic or serious character,,who knows her voice will fit int hose characters,,

I will be honest here as well. As much as I adore her, Dara really needs to work on her acting. Its just awkward. Not natural. I have known Seungyoon since his audition show days, but I dont feel like I am seeing Kang SeungYoon at all when he acts. Hope she improves, she is really hardworking
Because knetz can't criticize her facial expressions, they just pointed out Dara's soft voice as a way to bash her. Seriously knetz?! It's not like she could just have a transplant and change her voice tone. Lmao. I think Dara is doing well in portraying Noh Woori, same with Kang Seungyoon. The producers actually did a great job in the casting. Even the supporting roles like Wonyoung's band mate and Woori's friend add some color and liveliness to the drama. This web drama is really on a higher level. Congrats Team We Broke Up.
K-Blackjacks are really lazy when it comes to things like these. I guess it has to do with age and priorities. Most of them are actually working now and unless Dara get's exposed in Public Broadcast I don't think she will gain a lot of new younger Korean fans (whose passion is way beyond the norm). 2ne1 has more casual fans than hardcore fans to begin with. Plus the fact that she is a female is already a huge disadvantage. In Korean celebrity structure, being a female is only a huge advantage when you have crazed uncle fans. Even the biggest actress doesn't get much fan support.
I enjoy this webdrama though. Both of Seungyoon's and Dara's acting blend well and fit with character from the webtoon. I don't have any complain for Dara's voice in this webdrama. Well, when the k-netz complain about that Dara sure will have more lesson for her vocal because she said that she will take all criticism
Esp seungyoon fans even ahjusi know him..he is well known in korea not only by fangirls and his cameo in producer are well received..hopefully his next drama will be in TV broadcast..I don't care if lead role or supporting role..

On the contrary, I am okay that YG didn't media play her. Yes she could be as popular as Yoona and Suzy among male fans but where are they now? Yoona slowly lost almost all her ahjussi fans when it was announced that she was dating. Suzy is already slowly losing her relevancy because she is now dating. When you have that image people will see you as pristine and good girl. Who can do no wrong in their eyes. However, when you start dating most of the time you will lose all your fans because you are no longer the innocent girl that entices their fantasy.
Thus, I am thankful that she was not build up by YG in that image. Dara may not be the most popular but she still has so much more to offer. I am not saying that the other 2 girls doesn't have anything to offer but because they were already at the peak, the only way is to go down.

at first and second episodes I can see her as Woori, but idk in following episodes I see her as Dara. her acting is improves a lot, but she haven't able to delivering her character very well. sometimes you can act very well, but you cant get into character. you just need to be more sensitive, and understand your character better.

How does one change their voice? Unless they're voice actors changing voice and talking while acting sound uncomfortable. But I'm loving the drama more each episode. Still not feeling / liking the second female lead but everyone else is really good. I need that Dara solo ost too!

So bipolar, they worship girl groups with helium voices yet they condemn Dara. That squeeky/helium sound only comes out when she's excited though, but when she's normally talking there's no problem. She doesn't even sound like a chipmunk. What even.
don't mind the haters.. I've red the webtoon and dara is actually doing a good job. Woori is pretty exaggerated and funny to the fullest, that's her character.. I cant imagine another actress as woori. As per dara's accent, well I don't care subtitle is more important to me ^.^ Fighting!!!
sometimes i wish ppl would praise Dara's face less and focus on what she can do, not her face.
