Epik High to perform at Coachella

Article: Epik High to perform at famous U.S. festival Coachella
Source: E-Daily via Naver

1. [+236, -8]  Wow, Coachella isn't just some ordinary stage you can perform on.  This is daebak.

2. [+205, -8]  Epik High, release another album~^^

3. [+199, -11]  A while back, I ended up on a TaJinYo cafe and there was someone on there that wrote an apology after facing charges but there was no ounce of sincerity in it.  This country's hate-comment writing bastards keep posting and posting until they finally get charged and that's when they bring out the tears and beg to be forgiven.  If they don't get charged, they just keep doing it, trash-like bastards.

4. [+112, -3]  Fighting this 2016!  ^^

5. [+114, -6]  Hoping for more success this new year~!!  Epik High's the best

6. [+27, -2]  There's a few TaJinYo here too?  Disappear right now while I'm still being nice

7. [+17, 0]  Coachella's headliners are amazing ㄷㄷ Epik High's class

8. [+17, 0]  Have you ever been in love~ falling at first sight like in the movies~
(tn: Epik High lyrics)

9. [+27, -4]  As expected of Epik High.  Fighting to Haru's appa!

10. [+14, 0]  Wow...that's incredible...

Tablo, "It's okay even if Haru isn't good at math or English"

“Sharing is in her blood,” he added. “Whenever she has anything to share, she gives it away and she takes good care of her friends. Usually around this time adults ask things like, ‘How much English can she speak? Can she write Hangeul well?’ but I don’t need any of those things. I’m glad that she takes joy in sharing. If she knows that joy, then it’s okay if she isn’t good at math or English. All the things you can’t teach, Haru already knows. Watching her, I learn a lot of things myself.”

“Lately she is showing an interest in Disney characters,” her father said, “but her love for animals and fish hasn’t changed at all. I think that her future career will have something to do with animals or fish. Maybe she will be a scientist and do wildlife or marine research. Whatever she does, if she likes it, then I think the world will be a better place.”

When the interviewer asked if Haru wanted to be a celebrity, DJ Tukutz joked, “Haru is already a celebrity.”

“Haru doesn’t think much of the fact that she’s on TV,” Tablo agreed. “Since everyone around her is on TV, she thinks that being on TV is something everybody does. Because her parents and her parents’ friends are all on TV, she thinks that everyone in the world has their own channel.”

Article: Tablo "Sharing Angel Haru, it's okay even if she isn't good at math or English" [Epik High, father edition]
Source: My Daily via Naver

1. [+2972, -115]  It's so nice to see that Haru has such a beautiful heart ㅎㅎ I hope her heart won't change even when she grows

2. [+2313, -117]  Haru's seriously like an angel ㅠㅠ

3. [+1931, -93]  I miss Haru.  She's such a nice kid~~ ^^

4. [+1601, -73]  She looks just like her dad ㅎㅎㅎ

5. [+1572, -83]  If you follow Haru's Instagram, you can see that she's getting prettier day by day.  I miss Haru~

6. [+258, -37]  This is what a good parent is.  They acknowledge what their kid was born with and support what the kid wants to do instead of suppressing them with just studies

7. [+243, -29]  I'm jealous of the freedom of those who live well.  I'm not saying this in a bad way but I'm just genuinely jealous and I admire them.  Being able to comfortably raise a child like that, I can tell the kid will grow up to be such a happy person.  To step back from the competition and just let them do whatever makes them happy...  I hope I'll be able to raise my kid like that in the future.

8. [+233, -24]  Haru's going to grow up so happily under such great parents.  There are still so many parents who are well-off but raise their children in such a dumb, machine-like manner where they don't give their children freedom and stop them from doing what the kid loves to do so they'll only focus on studies.

9. [+185, -29]  This is normal.  Most parents do say they want their kid to be successful but they only make them focus on studying, studying, studying... They don't realize the other talents their kids have which only results in the kid going into a path they're not suited for

10. [+177, -29]  "Everyone has their own tv show" ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Definitely something Haru would say ㅋㅋ I'm really curious as to how Haru will be when she grows up ㅋㅋ

Source: Sports Dongah via Naver

1. [+1904, -16] So Epik High eventually becomes a group where all the members are married men, huh

2. [+948. -23] Congrats, be happy~~~~!!

3.[+730, -17] Congratulations on your wedding, live happily and sweetly.. ^-^

4. [+556, -15] Hul, live happily

5. [+502, -21] Congratulations~~~~

6. [+49, -3] Congratulations. When I looked at the picture I thought there would be at least a 5 year age gap but they're the same age...

7. [+34, -3] They aren't marrying late and all members married pretty women, please continue to make awesome music as well ^^

8. [+37, -8] I've been wondering something for a while. Is telling the media and the public that you are having a private marriage really a private marriage?

9. [+24, -1] Earlier this year I went to the concert and there was a question about when he would get married and he said he would take care of it. He really did take care of it ㅋ

10. [+26, -5] She's seriously that old? She looked younger...

'Oppa's Car' tops five music charts

Article: 'Oppa's Car' #1 on five music charts... YG going full speed

Source: OSEN via Naver

1. [+2368, -125]  God-ppa's Car was in 20th place when it first came out.  It kept coming up little by little and is now #5 on Melon

2. [+2238, -396]  I was so embarrassed as a YG fan when I first heard it on broadcast though...;;  I guess I'm getting old now

3. [+1633, -90]  Oppa got a new car, I'll pick you up

4. [+1379, -188]  We're on a turtle ship~~~~~~

5. [+1737, -1012]  As expected if it's YG, even a song like this is able to succeed ㅋㅋ

6. [+646, -44]  When I first heard it I was like wtf? there's a song like this?  But then I found myself singing along to it~ oppa got a new car~ I'll come pick you up

7. [+581, -29]  ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋA song fatal to test-takers ㅋㅋㅋㅋ YG keeps coming out with addictive songs.. Also this song's specialty is Incredible's eyes ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ you could tell from it that he didn't want to sing the song anymore but had no choice but to keep going...

8. [+479, -14]  This song's point is the way Incredible looked so freaking embarrassed while Jinusean were the only ones excited by it

Show Me The Money 4: Lee Hi's appearance, Oppa's Car, Song Mino

Article: 'Show Me The Money 4' Lee Hi's appearance, YG rappers admiration "As expected... she's no joke"

4. [+123, -4]  This is why they go 'ye ye'

5. [+117, -3]  Lee Hi's a really good singer

6. [+42, -1]  Ah, seriously, isn't Lee Hi being too much?  How can you grow up like this ㅠㅠ your vocal colour's so beautiful and her singing has become deeper ㅠㅠ I honestly got goosebumps

7. [+36, -1]  My whole body reacted right from the first note.. her vocal colour's freaking good seriously

8. [+31, -1]  I love her voice so much.  Hope my daughter has a voice like hers ㅋ

9. [+28, -1]  Lee Hi's a good artist

10. [+23, -1]  She's such a good singer..... ㅠhow can she have a voice like that?

Source: TV Report via Naver

1. [+266, -10]  I was there and Lee Hi's super pretty and skilled ㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ I first saw her when I was in middle school and she's grown up so well since thenㅜㅜ

2. [+61, -2]  As expected it's YG... Lee Hi's the best ㅜㅜㅜㅜ

3. [+58, -3]  C'mon Yang CEO, release Lee Hi's album ㅜㅜ it's been three years

Article: [Music Talk] 'Oppa's Car' , an addictiveness you can't resist'

Source: OSEN via Naver

1. [+3362, -95]  Tablo's strategic composition that foresees two moves ahead

2. [+2964, -218]  Oppa's Car splits Korea's hip-hop from before and after

3. [+2204, -151]  Plus amidst all this is Super B's character ㅋㅋ

4. [+1959, -52]  At first I was like 'What's this?'..... but it's a song that has a melody that comes up all at once ㅋㅋ

5. [+1757, -154]  I truly can't understand the big difference in opinion between the public and the judge panel.  I wish they'd stop judging based on popularity and visual

6. [+570, -27]  Jinusean - Oppa's Car (feat Tablo, Incredible)

7. [+558, -17]  It's definitely a Jinusean song

8. [+532, -21]  I cringed during the broadcast but I can't get the chorus out of my head.  Oppa bought a new car, I'll pick you up~ ㅋㅋ

9. [+485, -47]  Whether or not it fits Show Me The Money, the song has a YG-like hip hop feel to it which most people will like... but surprisingly the event fee wasn't that high

Source: Financial News via Naver

1. [+259, -8]  God-ppa car ㅋㅋㅋㅋ it really blew up out of nowhere

2. [+229, -8]  It's totally a Suneung song.  Once you listen to it, it keeps repeating over and over in your head....

(T/N: *Songs that are so addictive and pop up in your head when you're writing the CSAT)

3. [+157, -31]  I'm living with ears that still haven't listened to Oppa's Car...

4. [+126, -4]  When I first heard it I was like 'they're doing this kind of stuff'? but during my shift, "oppa bough a new car, I'll come pick you up" kept playing about a hundred times over and over in my head ㅋㅋㅋ

5. [+66, -7]  Incredible seemed like a tough gangster at first but the more I see him the cuter he getsㅋㅋㅋ

6. [+38, -1]  Oppa got a car!  I'll come pick you up!

7. [+30, -1]  It's stuck in my head ahhh

Article: 'Show Me The Money 4 where the eliminated shine brighter?  Now back to their roots'

Source: No Cut News via Naver

1. [+2951, -785]  Song Mino hasn't lost with his lyrics up until this point and he's freaking doing well.  He's throwing hits here and there like a punching bag ㅋㅋ

2. [+1947, -303]  San E the money, decision-changing jint ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

3. [+1939, -413]  That was a really good performance by Song Mino and it doesn't lose compared to the other rappers that have gone onto the semi-finals, I'd understand if he took the win

4. [+1172, -216]  Innovator's stage yesterday was also good~

5. [+602, -68] To be honest, Song Mino did well.  The phrase "Song Mino will win anyway" seems like it's become poison to Mino.  Not feeling the fact that SMTM's becoming more and more like a Blacknut episode each time

6. [+622, -91]  I think Song Mino's doing the best out of all of them and hasn't lost with his lyrics.  It's too bad he's getting flak for being an idol

7. [+572, -68]  "The winner will be Song Mino anyway" ㅋㅋㅋ I think those who block their ears for the reason he's an idol are more of a problem ㅋㅋ  Song Mino's been consistently showing his skills on stage and has survived up 'till this point because of that

Ahㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ  Blo hyung ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ So funny and refreshing ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Pann: 'Tablo's Blacknut Parody' [+890, -22]

1. [+262, -12]  Tablo's so freaking cute ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Tablo's the most adorable judge on Show Me The Money ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ With his round lovely eyes too..

2. [+229, -12]  Tablo's hilarious ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋDefinitely king of the punch line

3. [+164, -9]  Dying of laughter  ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

4. [+80, -1]  If it was me, I would've stepped all over Blacknut... Song Mino's amazing

5. [+77, -5]  Ah~  Tablo's so refreshing ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I don't like Mino or Blacknut but I really hated Blacknut that day.  He stooped so low and cheap just to win ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I thought Mino was amazing and definitely from YG when he stayed calm and rapped his best

6. [+74, -1]  Getting goosebumps from how cheap Blacknut is ㅋ  I seriously would've stepped on him

7. [+67, 0]  Tablo really has a way with words ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I've always felt it while watching SMTM

8. [+65, 0]  Tablo's comments on SMTM are so funny ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ  "Big Bang/room" was hilarious ㅋㅋㅋ

[Instiz] Epik High's amazing 'water-sprinkling' skill at their concerts

"I realized this when I watched their performance but their 'water-spraying' skill is amazing.  It's like those warriors in video games waving around their weapon.  Personally, one of the many reasons that I go to concerts is to experience this ㅋㅋㅋㅋ"

http://instiz.net/pt/2951089

Source: Instiz

[1] "He's like a water sprinkler ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ"

[2] "I really need to attend one of their concerts one day..."

[3] "Honestly, this is so true.  They're really good at this.  There are some who are bad at it and you end up filled with water droplets on your face but theirs just feels like a light mist."

[4] "ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Now that I think about it, they are"

[5] "This reminds me of Tablo's live-giving water in the past ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ  I thought I was going to die by how hot it was and then Tablo sprayed water at the crowd and saved me"

[6] "Seriously  ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ  I'm so thankful when they spray water whenever I go to hip-hop concerts ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ When you get hit by it, you feel this sense of joy ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ When you're in the standing, it gets soooo hot that you can't help but just keep asking for them to spray you with water ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I need to go to an Epik High concert again"

[7] "It's like the feeling of being blessed by holy water"

Source: Instiz

[2] "Well, I should probably start by getting off of Instiz and actually doing homework."

[3] "Where did I leave my textbook again?"

[5] "The grading is more difficult overseas too."

[6] "I wonder what his way of studying is to get grades like that"

[8] "God-blo"

[9] "I suddenly remember these lyrics, 'In your eyes, my common grades are false records.  Yeah, that's right, I'm above the average academic ability.' (TN: A play on words)"

Post: 'Looking at 'ToToGa' line-up in 10 years for fun' [+388, -23]

Source: Nate, 2015.02.13

1. [+187, -31]  I will forever love DBSK.

2. [+161, -46]  Let's leave out Big Bang.  Seems like they'll still be promoting even after 10 years.  They've only released two full albums... and they're only coming out now with the third... In a 10-year span, they've only come up to their third full album so in another 10 years time, they'll probably still be on their 5th or 6th, right? ㅋㅋㅋ

3. [+101, -10]  It would seriously be legendary if it turned out like this.

4. [+74, -6]  No answer to people wanting to put EXO in this line-up ㅡㅡ

5. [+71, -76]  Let's leave out 2NE1

6. [+58, -16]  Seriously no one can take after DBSK's height of popularity;;

7. [+56, -4]  If DBSK is going to come out in 10 years like that, I hope it will be the five of them... I want to see them together again at least once.

8. [+48, -19]  Why is someone saying to leave out 2NE1?  What the hell is that all about?  From Lollipop to Fire, I Don't Care, Go Away, Come Back Home, Lonely, Ugly and more... they don't have any songs that didn't turn into hits.  Are you crazy?  Is it because of the controversy?  Then why don't we take out SJ's Kangin, Leessang, why don't we just take them all out then?  ToToGa focuses on the music.  Why are you ruining it?

9. [+46, -8]  Why isn't SS501 included in this?

10. [+45, -2]  It says right there it's those that debuted in 2000~2009.  EXO debuted in 2012.  What are their fans talking about?

11. [+42, -1]  Why isn't Brown Eyed Girls here.  They're at the level ㅋㅋㅋ If you turn on Abracadabra, anyone will be bound to react immediately to it ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Now that I think of it in 10 years, BEG's average age will be 43.5 years old ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I'm anticipating them dancing the arrogant dance in 10 years ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

12. [+40, -16]  Why would you leave 2NE1 out?  They hit daebak with their debut song 'Fire' plus I Am The Best, I Don't Care, Lonely, Ugly, Come Back Home, and more.  They're all mega-hits, so what are you saying?

13. [+36, -2]  I'm not lying but when Big Bang's 'Lies' comes on, every single person in my class back then would say "Yeoboseyo?" right after the piano medley ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It's so funny ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ And when Haru Haru comes on, they all act like they're in the music video and try to push each other acting like they're going to fight ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ We all sang along to their songs and for Last Farewell ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ In the corridors, someone would go 'B to the I to the G' and the other class would go 'Bang Bang'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  We played around like this back in the days ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Wow, seriously I'm getting nostalgic here ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

14. [+32, -3]  Is anyone else hoping for DBSK to come out as five if this actually happens

15. [+29, -10]  Leave out 2NE1? As if.  All of their title songs and side tracks right from their mini albums became hit songs.

Epik High to perform a 5 year-old version of 'Born Hater' on "Sketchbook"

Article: 'Epik High surprisingly releases a 5 year-old version of '19+ Born Hater''

Source: OSEN via Naver, 2015.02.13

1. [+3487, -22]  Is it Haru's version? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Can't wait

2. [+2413, -27]  So let's have Mithra hyung get married soon too...

3. [+2221, -17]  Born Hater has the best beat

[Instiz] G-Dragon's gift to Epik High vs Epik High's gift to Bobby

Tablo revealed, "I did a featuring for G-dragon's album in the past.  What's great about working with GD is that he gives out presents and a really nice one at that.  He gave me a very expensive gift.  Honestly, that scares me a bit.  Because if it's like that and GD does a featuring for us next time, we also have to get him a gift and unfortunately we don't make as much as G-Dragon."

Tablo felt burdened by G-Dragon's gift and later...

They gave Bobby a gift for his featuring.

[Bobby's Interview] Do you have anything you'd like to buy?

"Just one or two things, I wanted to buy a watch but the Epik High hyungs gave me one as a gift.  It was as thanks for featuring in 'Born Hater'.  It's something that holds a lot of meaning to me.  That watch is a symbol of hip-hop."

The watch that Epik High bought for Bobby

Reported to be around 9 million won (~$9000 USD)

If Epik High felt burdened by G-Dragon's gift and was able to buy Bobby a gift like this...

just what did G-Dragon buy for Epik High?

Post: 'Epik High who felt burdened by G-Dragon's expensive gift... but later, the gift they gave Bobby'

Source: Instiz

[1] "What exactly did G-Dragon give them then?"

[2] "G-Dragon must have bought each of them an island."

[3] "If they gave Bobby that watch, GD must have bought them the whole store."

[4] "Can I go help G-Dragon with a featuring too?"

[5] "Did he buy them a car or something?"

[6] "Wow... the world that they live in is so different"

[7] "Did he get them diamonds?  I can't remember."

[8] "Bobby always wears that watch.  Wow, GD is my favourite artist but he honestly lives in such a different world."

[9] "Maybe GD got them a building"

[10] "So jealous... they have so much money..."

[11] "I bet GD must have given them something very unique.  Dok2 also did a featuring for GD back then and he gave him a bag that was one of the 35 only ones in the whole world. ㅋㅋㅋ"
